'Tis the Season
Dear Friends of IPLSF:
We have always said that the city of San Francisco merits a poetry library, a haven where poets, students, educators and the general literary-loving public can find that rare first-edition or upload an archival poetry reading from the 1950s. Now you can help make poetry available to our community and beyond by giving an end-of-the year contribution. IPLSF is a registered 501c3 non-profit, so your gift is tax-deductible. - Post Continued

Dear Friends of IPLSF:
As we head into the holiday, I just wanted to thank so many of you who keep IPLSF going. First, we had a lovely reading at The Marsh Mock Café during SF's Litcrawl, the cumulative literary pinnacle of San Francisco's 10-day Litquake festival. Thanks to poets Ellen Bass, Dean Rader, Alexandra Teague, Danusha Lameris, Michael Braten, and Mary Angelino. Check out their readings on our Youtube Channel. - Post Continued

Join The International Poetry Library of San Francisco February 11, 2011 for a benefit cocktail soiree with award winning poet and teacher Tony Hoagland at the legendary Chateau Tivoli. Libations and an assortment of lusty hors d'oeuvres will be served and followed by a reading by Tony Hoagland.
Tickets are tax deductible (Tax ID#: 26-2438029) and all proceeds go to The International Poetry Library of San Francisco's capital campaign to bring poetry online and on site to the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. And, they would make a fabulous Valentine's Day gift. - Post Continued
