Potential Location Found

The last two months have been busy ones—inputting, cataloging, and trading in books. We are at 1,022 books catalogued, 30 more waiting to
be entered, and 350 donated rare and/or old non-poetry books that we are planning to sell when we open for business.

We have now chosen the Divisadero neighborhood in the Lower Haight as our first choice for the library. It’s an up and coming neighborhood in
Supervisor Ross Mirkarimi’s District 5 that resists chain stores and hosts some innovative galleries, cafes, and restaurants.

We are plunging into revisions of the business plan and preparing to start talking with financial donors.

A big thank you to our recent contributors!
If you or someone you know has extra poetry books to donate, we would love to give them a good home. Check out our contributions page for
details.
