The Donations Continue

In this month of Love and Presidents (finally one who loves poetry!), we want to recognize the generous folks who gave financial and book contributions this month to The International Poetry Library of San Francisco.

Norma is a former English scholar, television and theatre actress, and professor of composition who has continued to donate upwards of 700+ books-- some of which we are trading for poetry volumes, some we are keeping to sell retail when we open, and other prized volumes we are including in our reference library. She has also donated four solid wood bookcases, all of which we are deeply grateful. Be well, Norma.

February was a very busy month for the library. We ventured to Chicago for the AWP Conference, collected and sorted 300 volumes, and cataloged and labeled 150 more.

We still have many volumes to catalog and sort. If you are interested in helping out, feel free to contact me at kim.mahler@iplsf.org or (408) 480-1828.
