We are excited to offer you our updated website with more interactive features and ways to stay in touch with us.

On February 21, we catalogued over 200 new titles. We want to acknowledge our recent contributors:

There are still four full boxes of books to catalog, and more on the way. So, keep an eye out for our next cataloging gathering in May.

Recent & Upcoming Readings:

On Monday, March 15, 2010 at 7pm we collected 10 more books and raised funds as part of our Bin 38 poetry reading benefit for the library. Poets Marc Pinate, Matthew Zapruder, and Camille Dungy read from their recent work.. In between we raffled off broadsides, signed poetry books, and tickets to the Youth Speaks Spoken Word Finals and California Academy of the Sciences. a lovely evening. Thanks to everyone who came out.

On Tuesday, April 27, 2010 6-8pm we are hosting a Beat Poetry Reading, featuring David Meltzer, A.D. Winans, Neeli Cherkovski, and Sharon Doubiago, raffle for signed books and broadsides at the end of the evening, North Beach Branch Library, Clubhouse, 2000 Mason Street, SF. Free admission.
