Potential Location Found
The last two months have been busy ones—inputting, cataloging, and trading in books. We are at 1,022 books catalogued, 30 more waiting tobe entered, and 350 donated rare and/or old non-poetry books that we are planning to sell when we open for business.
We have now chosen the Divisadero neighborhood in the Lower Haight as our first choice for the library. It’s an up and coming neighborhood in
Supervisor Ross Mirkarimi’s District 5 that resists chain stores and hosts some innovative galleries, cafes, and restaurants.
We are plunging into revisions of the business plan and preparing to start talking with financial donors.
A big thank you to our recent contributors!
